November 5th

Welcome Orientation

We kick things off with a live video orientation. Meet the other participants, get introduced to the coaches, and learn how to make the most of the next 4 weeks.

November 6th — November 12th

Teaming & Ideation

We’ll form teams of 3 to 4 based on preferences and experience levels. Go through the problem definition process to pitch an idea or brainstorm a new idea with your team.

November 13th — November 19th

Customer Discovery

It’s time to test if you're solving a real problem. Interview prospective customers, iterate on the idea, and articulate a viable solution that people will pay for.

We'll take off November 20th — November 26th for Thanksgiving.

November 27th — December 3rd

Go To Market Strategy

Next, we’ll dig into your competitive landscape and advantages, size the market opportunity, and lay out a strategy to take the solution to market.

December 4th — December 10th

Financials & Investment

Figure out the best business model for your startup, calculate your financial projections, and determine your investment needs and allocation.

December 11th

Pitch Day

It’s time to pitch! Each team will join over video to present their startup, do q&a with the judges, and get detailed feedback. Also, watch and learn from the other pitches.

After The Start

Ideation Resources

After completing The Start, many of our participants benefit from going through the weekly materials that are provided during the bootcamp, to evaluate and work through new ideas.

Local Engagement

We'll provide guidelines to get you involved in your local startup community, including joining an incubator or accelerator program, meeting co-founders, and getting funding.

A Global Community

Get invited to join The Start's private online community to connect with other alumni from all over the globe, including past coaches and judges. Get inspired, ask questions, and collaborate.
